How to Setup PennSmart ISP on your computer

1 Obtain User Name and Password (This is supplied by PennSmart) and your email name

2 Have your access number available       ie 814 707-4001 (Titusville) or your local #

3 Internet Explorer must first be installed (if you don’t have it call 827-8596)

4 If the Internet Connection Wizard is on the Desktop double-click it and goto 6 or else:

5 Click on Start Menu

        Click on Run

        Type icwconn1 in the Open box

        Click OK

6 Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually, blah blah

        Click Next

7 Select I connect through a phone line and a modem

        Click Next

8 Make sure your modem is selected

9 Enter Area code and Telephone Number selected in step 2
        Uncheck the box by Dial using area code and country code

        Click Next

10 Enter User name and Password assigned by PennSmart ISP

        Click Next

11 Enter "PennSmart ISP" in the Connection name box

        Click Next

11 Select Yes

        Click Next

12 Select Create a new Internet mail account

        Click Next

13 Enter your name, or any name to identify this account, in the Display Name box

14 Enter your E-mail address from PennSmart ISP in form emailname@pennsmart.com  

15 Select POP3 beside My incoming mail server is a. . .

        Enter mail.pennsmart.com  in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server

        Enter mail.pennsmart.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server

        Click Next

16 Enter your full emailname ie. yourname@pennsmart.com  

        Enter your email Password

        Click Next

17 Click Finish

Clicking on Internet Explorer should automatically start your dialer
