IT IS DUE TO A FLAW IN WINDOWS FOR WHICH THEY NOW PROVIDE A PATCH!
DO NOT SKIP THE INSTRUCTIONS ON DISABLING SYSTEM RESTORE.
IF YOU HAVE NOT YET BEEN INFECTED BE SURE TO INSTALL THE
PATCH FOUND HERE
TO KEEP FROM GETTING IT!
To stop the "countdown to shutdown" once it has started follow these steps EXACTLY:
Click Start
Select Run
Type in shutdown -a
(don't forget the space and dash a)
Click Ok
OR
This will only stop it temporarily while you download the removal tool and patch.
Click here for a removal tool and then to install a patch from Microsoft. Select OPEN when prompted.
